The Usher’s Ministry serves as the gatekeepers and stewards during worship to help maintain order during service.

YOUTH USHERS
2ND & 4TH SATURDAY
1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.

The Youth Usher Ministry offers young people a chance to serve and to learn the duties of the Senior Ushers. Youth Ushers also have an opportunity to fellowship with one another and with other youth in area churches.

On any given worship service administered at the New Jerusalem your first encounter will be that of a warm greeting given by our wonderful ushers ministry who provide an invaluable service to the church body.
Our ushers may range from as young as 4 years of age, however, each usher has a heart of service unto the lord and seek to ensure your comfort. Whether it is to greet and usher you to comfortable seating. to provide a bulletin or welcome card or to assist in emergency care; It is their goal to be a blessing to God and to our members and guest. A church usher has a true love for the people of the church and a desire to promote an atmosphere of reverence and worship in the house of God.

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
